An experimental short film that uses AI's own image-making logic as a communication design methodology. Rather than treating AI as simply a production tool, the project adopts its process of sampling, synthesising and reconstructing imagery as the foundation of its visual language. Individually generated AI images are dismantled, collaged and recomposed by hand into a caricatured world, turning the production process itself into part of the film's argument. Built around the phrase "Use That Thing. Show That Thing.", the film explores one of today's most uncomfortable creative conversations: our reluctance to admit we're using AI. By performing AI's logic instead of simply discussing it, That Thing asks what our hesitation reveals about creativity, authorship and the culture surrounding creative work today.
