Yosemite Symbol Study

A design exploration focused on translating landscape into mark. Using Yosemite National Park as its subject, the project studies how scale, geology, and natural rhythm can be distilled into a simple graphic symbol. Rather than illustrating the park, the work abstracts its defining elements—mass, verticality, and balance—into a logo system that captures the spirit of Yosemite through form. The study examines how a symbol can carry place, memory, and meaning without relying on literal imagery.
